Cabin

It's been a week, and I FINALLY remembered to grab the camera from Adam before he left today. I've had pictures sitting there, waiting for me to put them on the bloggeroo for much too long.

We ventured to the Cabin a couple of weekends ago, for the first time in two years. Last summer we spent all our time at home, saving money. We didn't have any you see. We still don't have much, but enough to buy a tank of gas and some food and head up for some free fun. Approximately three pictures into the trip, the camera promptly died...out of batteries with none to replace them in sight. So...here's those three pictures for your viewing pleasure.

We had a great time, hitting golf balls, shooting old coke cans, watching Dee Dee play tag with a deer (her new best friend, although the deer didn't have mutual feelings), eating delicious food (it always tastes better up there), hiking, and watching the stars at night...you could safely say a good time was had by all.

How cool your family got to spend time in a cabin. Beautiful summer memories (perfect for scrapbooking)!
