Dearest 60th West,
Oh how I've missed your precious pavement.
Your transportation north and south.
I've longed for your company,
these last long 2 months,
and I've dreamed of your presence once more.
At last you are back,
All paved in new black,
Today is the day, hooray!
So promise me 60th west, please do;
to keep your path open forever and ever.
For we truly love Target,
and dear Harmon's too...
and you're the best way there, it's true.

That is fantastic!! I have missed 60th west oh so much.
You funny little poet you! I don't even know what street that is and I can still feel your passion!
I laughed so hard! You are awesome! :} I will also love not taking the LONG way to your house anymore.
You are the best poet in the world. I only missed 60th west when I was coming from Mommies house. But I am glad that it is open for you guys. That makes me so happy and warm inside.
seriously, i can't wait for that street to open.
i can only imagine the day i can actually get out of my driveway AND go on 6000 west. it's almost too convenient!
Cute poem! That is one thing that I HATED about living up there!!! It drove me insane that main roads would be closed off for so long and it was a pain to get anywhere!
