Camp Outs

As I type, the girls are outside on the lawn, camped in the tent with dad.
I'm not usually a party-pooper, but I opted for the comfort of my own bed tonight.
So, we watched Scooby Doo Zombie Island, had popcorn, and lights out.
The girls were in HEAVEN.
Although, I'm not sure if they were more excited about the tent,
or the fact that they each had their own flash light to hold.
It was a toss up.
Luckily none of the flying flashlights, met up with anyone's head.
Tonight I'm grateful for Adam, and his camp out idea...
and the fact that he loves those two girls more than anyone else on the planet.
(Maybe even me? Probably.)

Customer Service

Today I had exceptional customer service at Costco.

One mixed up photo order was to blame,
but the kind lady helped me through it...
and she did it with a smile,
and for free.

I am grateful for people who give great customer service.
It can be hard, I've done it.
And, it sure makes me want to keep shopping at their store!

I am grateful

...that the day has come to a close.

There were crying children at school,
and spilled drinks in the parking lots,
and crazy kids running like maniacs at my house.

So...I'm just grateful I made it to the end of the day,
with my sanity.
Which is questionable.
Here's to a calmer tomorrow!

Who Invented BLT's?

Today I wish I could be grateful that I can run in heels,
but I can't.
Because I totally fell trying to catch my child as she was running away...

So, instead I'll be grateful for BLT's.
I was just wondering...
who was sitting around one day and thought:
"I think I'll make a sandwich,
and on that sandwich I'll put bacon, lettuce, and tomato.
Add in some mayo and salt and pepper, for good measure.
That should taste good together."
Because who ever it was,
was a genius...or a Saint.

Notice how I seem to be grateful for food a lot this week?
I think that's because last week I hardly ate any.
Don't worry, I'm making up for it now.
Dang it.

Peaches

Today I am grateful for peaches.

Brigham City Peaches...to be exact.

Mmmm...mmmm...yummy.
